There are three components to each service plan that a2bTV offers:

1. Initial Setup - $499 - $100 Mail-in Rebate
   The initial set up fee covers the acquisition and installation of your IPTV Converter and a 100 Hour DVR in our secure data center in Los Angeles, CA. Set up time is typically 48 hours, but may be extended during limited inventory situations. Your set up fee includes your lease upgrade fee for a satellite TV DVR, IPTV Converter, your first month of hosting service, and set up for $499. There is a $100 mail-in rebate provided by the satellite television company is included in your first bill.
   
   
2. a2bTV Hosting Fee - $129 to $109 per month based monthly, quarterly, or annual payment options
   Your monthly hosting fee includes the following:
   a) A guaranteed 1.5 Mbps upstream data connection for your personal video stream.
   b) Regular maintenance and, if necessary, repair of your hardware
   c) Secure space in a Tier 1 data center with multiple UPS and redundant power supplies, ensuring an uninterrupted television signal to you.
   d) 24/7 customer and technical support
   e) Our personalized, DVR concierge service
   
   
3. Satellite Television Monthly Fee - Current Best Offer is $45.98 per month after mail-in rebate completed by a2bTV for you.
   In addition to the monthly hosting fee paid to a2bTV, you are also responsible for your monthly service bill from our satellite TV provider. Pricing varies, but we always have special promotions available. The current best offer is 185 cable channels, the LA local channels, 70 XM radio channels, a 100 Hour DVR, and Showtime or Starz movie channels for $45.98. If you do not want any movie channels the price would be reduced by $10 per month. This price is good for 15 months and is valid after a2bTV completes your mail in rebate for $10 off your TV services and includes $5.99 per month DVR fee. Offer valid until December 31, 2006. All customers will be contacted to finalize their satellite TV package by a trained satellite TV programming consultant before their account is activated. a2bTV does not sell TV programming, which is why you need to have two bills. Packages start at $29.99 and go to $89.99 per month. You will be able to pick the package that is best for your family prior to installation.

The fine print:

Our satellite TV provider requires a valid Social Security number to set up an account without a deposit. If you do not have a valid Social Security number or do not want to have your credit checked or have an active U.S. credit profile, you will be charged a $300 deposit when your service is activated. This deposit is credited back to you in equal payments of $10 per month over 30 months.

There is a two-year service agreement for your satellite TV services. The early cancellation fee is $300 but it decreases in equal amounts of $12.50 per month over 24 months. For example, if you cancelled in one year, our satellite TV provider would charge you a $150 cancellation fee. However, if you have to provide a deposit to set up your account, this will be taken out of your deposit and no additional funds would be due.
